Patch 1.01

In the vanilla release of the game, certain status ailments are far more powerful than is healthy for the balance of competitive play. Stun is a powerful effect that immobilizes the opponent and allows them to be hit with chains of attacks with no invincibility frames or block windows offered. Poison can tear right through enemy HP and offers small incentive to make builds other than defensive variants. As such, these balance changes were made:

  • Stun duration decreased from 10+ 1~2 seconds -> 5+1~2 seconds.

  • Poison duration decreased from entire battle -> 20 seconds.

Additionally, a fix was applied to reintroduce a particularly important game mechanic that was previously unused in VS due to relying on player input.

  • Finishers auto-fire upon availability. Finishers fire at minimal power.

Future changes are still in development.


HOW TO APPLY: Drag & drop the input ROM on the extract.bat and then run rebuild.bat. This will create a DigimonWorldPatched.bin file.
