What is Digimon World VS.?
Digimon World VS. is the first ever dedicated competitive scene for the Playstation classic, Digimon World. We hold weekly tournaments and are planning on upcoming league.
Why Digimon World?
Digimon World is a beloved game that has been supported by it's dedicated fan game since it's release in 1999. Be this through casual playthroughs, speed runs, or randomized runs. However, it has a very neglected PVP mode.
Digimon World sports a unique and deep battle system. Instead of making active input, players prepare their Digimon by training them up and choosing a move set to enter battles with. They then get to see how their build plays out against their opponent.

How is this possible?
Through the magic of the internet and emulation! By sending emulator memory card files to an organizer, they can pit the two Digimon against eachother in Digimon World's battle mode. We then leave the Digimon in the "Your Call" command to make it so that every fight is entirely CPU v. CPU.
As of Patch 1.01, we have also been able to ensure finishers are used as soon as they are available by the computer.

The vast majority of events are held with stat caps. We utilize these to encourage creative and unique strategies when it comes to preparing your Digimon.

Standard stat caps vary by tier of Digimon.

Ultimates: 3,500
For HP & MP: Round up to the nearest tens place and drop the last digit.
Example: 3574 HP would equate to 358 points towards the stat cap.
